Homewood Bay Lodge practices responsible environmental stewardship. The primary energy sources are solar and biomass. Experience ancient native forests with trees 1,000 years old, an extensive native ecosystem enhancement project, and a sustainably managed forest.
Water- and land-based outdoor activities abound to suit all ability levels: kayaking, rowing, fishing, beachcombing, hiking, mountain biking, orienteering, hunting. Back at the Lodge, you might want to play croquet or enjoy a puzzle or board game. If you'd sooner do nothing much at all, that's OK too: experience peace and quiet without television or street noise. Instead treat yourself to nature's symphony of birdsong, or perhaps dolphins performing acrobatics in the bay.
